ABOUT YOUTH ON COURSE

Youth on Course was started in 2006 by the Northern California Golf Association as a way to increase the accessibility and affordability of golf for Northern California youth. Within five years, the program was thriving and opportunities expanded to include afforable golf, caddie programs, paid internships and college scholarships. The demand grew beyond Northern California, and the NCGA Foundation reimagined the program as it took hold in a national market. YOC is now in 17 regions and has subsidized 500,000 rounds of golf, hired more than 115 interns and 362 caddies and awarded $275,000 in scholarships annually. Visit the Youth on Course website HERE for detailed information.

ABOUT THE JUNIOR GOLF ALLIANCE

The Junior Golf Alliance of Colorado (JGAC) was established in 2016 by the Colorado Section of the PGA and the Colorado Golf Association. The JGAC serves as a vehicle for collaboration in the arena of junior golf in the state of Colorado for parents, kids, coaches and PGA Professionals by streamlining the junior golf process, filling in the voids, further building the junior golf ranks, and creating new excitement with the four Major Championships (Colorado Junior Amateur Championship, Colorado PGA Junior Championship, Colorado Junior Match Play Championship and Junior Golf Alliance of Colorado Tour Championship).

In addition to being the one-stop-shop for competitive junior golf, the Player Development Pathway embraces the core programs of each association including Golf in Schools, PGA Junior League, Drive Chip & Putt Championship, partnerships with in-state national qualifying events, instructional camps and clinics and much more.  Additionally, the JGAC serves as the portal to college golf with a vast array of free counseling opportunities and assistance programs.
